The EM-Unit ( Electron Microscopy Unit) is used in the following subjects:

• Diagnosis the hospital specimens from Asser, Abha, and other hospitals in the southern region of Saudi Arabia because it is the only unit in this area.
• Teaching the EM- course for the students of medicine and  medical science.
• Research in all departments of the medical college and other related college such as college of science and education.
